Add Project question and spam report (your Community forum)

Hello Kandy Staff,

1) When I go to add my first app using the Add Project facility from my developer account page, one of the fields asks for a domain. What confuses me is that the domain is apparently a sub-domain to gmail.com? Can someone explain this to me? When i created my developer account I specified one of the domain names that my company owns, so I'm not sure what to put as a sub-domain to another primary domain, in this case, gmail.com?

  Thanks so much for your question and your interest in the Kandy Throw Down!

  I spoke with the Kandy team and the issue you’re describing with the sub-domains is known issue that is being worked on. It is being caused because you signed up for your account with a gmail email address (which is a newly allowed address type for the system). For now, please move forward with the subdomain of gmail.com for your project.

  Once a fix is created we’ll be sure to let you know.
