Quick-Start Guide

Thanks for joining the Kandy Throw Down. You're now officially registered and we’ll be sending you regular updates throughout the challenge.

Read on and start your project today. Submissions are due April 9th, 2015 at 5pm ET.

  1. Plan your attack. Review the challenge requirements and visit the Resources page to check out the datasets!
  2. Get Kandy. Use the Kandy Throw Down Promo Code to get access to upgraded free access to Kandy for the life of the challenge. (only apps built with this Promo Code service are eligible for the Throw Down) and dive into the API tutorials & quick starts.
  3. Get a head start on your submission. Fill out the basic fields on the submission form and save it as a draft today. This will give you a good idea of what you'll need to put together before the deadline.
  4. Optional: Find a teammate. Thinking about buddying up? Visit the Participants page to see who else is working on the challenge.
